PREPARING FOR YOUR SPRAY TAN
The Evening Before Treatment
The evening before your treatment, exfoliate your entire body. Pay special attention to dry areas such as hands, feet, elbows and knees.
Waxing / Shaving
If you feel the need to do any waxing or shaving, this should be completed at least twenty four hours prior to your treatment.
On The Day
It is very important that the skin if free from self tan, perfume, deodorant and any other aromatherapy oil prior to your treatment.
Clothing
When you come for your treatment, it is advised to wear dark loose fitting clothing. The guide colour may stain light man-made fibres and wool.

You will be able to dress immediately after your tan, but I always suggest to dry off for 10 minutes if you have time.

How soon after my spray tan can I shower?
Ideally leave it for between 4-12 hours, the tan will keep developing for up to 24 hours. If you can, get your spray tan done at the end of the day and then go to bed wearing it. You can then wash it off in the morning.

You must not wash, bathe, swim, shower or exercise within the development time. You can swim once your tan has developed but swimming in the sea and chlorinated pools may result in your tan fading more quickly.

Absolutely Not. There are no sun filters in St Tropez products so it’s very important that you still use a sun protection product with sufficient levels of SPF when exposing your skin to the sun.

SPRAY TAN AFTERCARE
Rinsing Down
Do not shower or bathe for a minimum of 8 hours after your treatment unless you have had express tan which is a minimum of 2-3 hours. After showering pat the skin dry or air dry where possible. Do not rub yourself dry.
Physical Activity
Avoid any physical activity which may cause perspiration for at least 12 hours after the treatment. Swimming pools and salt water may also dry your skin and cause your sunless tan to fade faster.
Special Note
The guide colour can be left on overnight although it may transfer onto bed linen. It will wash out of cotton, but not so easily from man-made fibres or wool.
Maintenance
Apply St Tropez Body Moisturiser or St Tropez Body Butter daily. Exfoliate your skin with St Tropez Body Polish every 2-3 days to ensure even fading.
